Our Favorite Office Games
The best way to stay sane in an office environment is by playing games. Here are some of our favorite easy, quick and fun desk-side activities that you can play during a lunch break or after work with your colleagues.
Hangman: great for any age group! The game involves one person thinking up words while the other players guess letters until they get it right. It’s also helpful as a learning tool if children are struggling with spelling. Hangman is even played at Google apparently 😉 Pictured above is Elephant Hanging Game from Tolo Toys – perfect for classrooms too!
20 Questions: This popular guessing game starts when someone thinks of something like “an animal” and the other players have to ask yes or no questions until they guess what it is.
Guess What: This game requires one person to think of an object – any object at all, while everyone else asks questions in order to figure out what it is! There are many variations including a “yes” or “no” version where you can only say those words as answers. Pictured above is Guess Who Cards by Gamewright Games for ages four and up.
Name That Tune: Great for music lovers, this guessing game starts when someone thinks of a song title that nobody knows (or maybe not everybody still remembers). The rest of the group then takes turns naming songs they believe might be this one.
