Episode #130: The Play’s the Thing (Season One)
Description: Darrin thinks he has found a way to make Samantha more interested in him- by joining her acting company! But she doesn’t want to be with him when he is acting.
Episode #131: Samantha’s Good News (Season One)
Description: Aunt Clara comes for a visit and tells Sam that she will have a baby! Except, as it turns out, the “baby” was just her foot in the door..literally- because then she said no more babies after this one. So what’s going on? And why does Darrin think Samantha would be disappointed about not having another child? Find out as you listen along to episode 131 of Bewitched!
Aunt Clara has come for a visit and told them they’re expecting their first child together; which news makes Darrin think that there won’t be any more children.
Episode #132: The Wrong Face (Season One)
Description: has a point, but not now! Darrin’s been called to work and the last thing he needs is another argument with Sam about his job. But when Samantha hears that Larry Tate turned up at the studio in her place for a guest appearance on ‘The Scene That Shook Hollywood’ she can’t believe it- especially since he didn’t seem very happy to be there. Why would Larry do such a thing? Find out as you listen along to episode 132 of Bewitched!
Darrin doesn’t want an argument over his job or change anything because he has to go into work, but then Samantha finds out that Larry Tate is a guest on the show, and she doesn’t believe him. She wants to know why he would do such a thing for her.
Episode #133: Dreamboat Darrin (Season One)
Description: Samantha starts having dreams that are becoming very realistic but they make no sense at all! Her son even goes after Larry who’s now pursuing another woman–Daphne Tate-and winds up in jail when his pummeling of Larry becomes too much. It turns out that Larry has been using an old textbook “Telepathy” by Professor Tibbert as part of his sorceries and it was affecting Sam so powerfully because she had read the book years ago under Mr Caldwell’s tutelage.
Episode #134: I’m The One That You Want (Season Two)
Description: The next day, Larry makes a deal with Samantha. He will cast the spell to make Darrin her dream man if she agrees not to hold him accountable for anything he’s done in his life. Sam agrees and they change their marital status from “single” to “married.” However, as soon as things start going well for both of them, a plane crashes into downtown San Francisco while carrying all of those who had been aboard the Titanic–including Teri Tate! It turns out that this is part of Larry’s plan so that he can be free again because Samantha still has control over him since it was her request that brought him back in the first place.
Episode #135: I’ve Got You Under My Skin (Season Two)
Description: Samantha melts Larry’s heart by telling him that she loves him for being a good father to Adam; so he agrees to never break his word again and cast the spell on Darrin, but only if Sam promises not to ask how he did it every time they argue as before.
However, when Larry starts performing magic tricks at work with no apparent explanation of where these items come from or why they are there after hours, Mr Caldwell is suspicious and investigates until one night when Darrin sees Mr Caldwell lurking outside their apartment window. He panics and locks himself up inside till morning–and winds up changing into a woman.
Episode #136: I Dream of Phoebe (Season Two)
Description: This episode is the first appearance by Paige, who becomes part of the family and eventually replaces Darrin when he leaves to teach at college after ten years with Samantha. They both love him deeply, but are happy for his new opportunity. In this episode we learn that Prudence was born in 1783 in Salem Massachusetts, where she lives alone because her husband died only a few months before they were married–and then one day she has an unlucky encounter with Samuel Adams.
Episode #157: Samantha’s Good News (Season Four)
Description: In this episode, Darrin is unhappy about Samatha turning down the job of headmistress at Miss Agnes Nixon High School because he wants her to resume a more traditional role as wife and mother. He gets frustrated when she won’t give up the idea until it becomes too hard for him–and then asks her not to leave after all! She decides they should simply share the responsibility between them. This marks an important milestone in their marriage where both parties are now equal partners with similar goals–a great lesson on how patience can be rewarding.
