When you think of fashion and fashion designers, most people imagine runway shows and the latest trends. However, most fashion designers don’t actually work in a studio setting. Their clothing collections are designed for a public market – like a fashion show, or a fashion-forward mall. For the most part, fashion designers are not actually wearing what they have designed, but are simply trying on clothes that look good on other people’s bodies.

I’m not sure why anyone thinks that. Not everyone is an accomplished photographer, or a fashion designer, or a fashion stylist, or even a designer who actually works in a studio setting. I can see how some people might think that fashion designers are simply out there buying new clothes and trying them on, but I have yet to meet a fashion designer who actually works in a studio setting.

I understand that some people are just out there trying out some new thing that they didn’t know they could wear. However, the fact is that everyone can’t afford a designer to try on every outfit that they could ever want to put on. When I go to a store, I see hundreds of clothing styles for different price points. I don’t know how many I could wear in one night if I had the time, the money, and the inclination.

There is a saying that “you cant’ ever have too many clothes.” So to that I say – keep it simple, dumb, and cheap. It takes a whole lot of time and money to do everything that you want.

Just a quick tip: You should not try to predict the future. Maybe you just want to play the new game with the most familiar things (e.g., shoes, tops, etc.
