If you have received a notice of violation, and want to request a hearing with the DMV, there are some things that you should know. If your driver’s license or vehicle registration has been suspended as a result of the violation, then you may request a hearing to appeal the suspension. However, if it is only your privileges that were suspended after receiving this notice of violation, then you do not qualify for an appeal hearing.

The following is what you should do if your request to hear appeals gets dismissed:
-Know that the DMV has not given you a hearing date or time.
-Contact our office immediately so we can schedule an in person meeting with our attorneys and help put together documents for a more complete appeal packet which will be sent directly to the DMV. This may include, but is not limited to: a driver’s record history, copies of driving abstracts, records from other government agencies such as criminal court proceedings (if applicable), photos (or video) evidence of illegal street racing activity at night time hours on public streets etc., witness statements or sworn affadavits, police reports and affidavits. If possible it would also be beneficial to have the driver’s license number and information for each partner in crime who was identified.
If you were represented by a lawyer at your DMV hearing, we will need to know that as well so our attorney can prepare an affidavit of qualifications on their behalf.
The certificate holder has 30 days from the date that they received notification of dismissal or denial to request another administrative review with written representation from us; however, it is crucial to act quickly because if too much time elapses without action then the certificate may be revoked permanently. – You should also note that there are specific statutory provisions which govern when a person shall not operate any motor vehicle under this chapter after being convicted of criminal vehicular homicide (MN 13A0904), criminal vehicular operation (MN 13A0903) or aggravated DWI.
