A few years ago I read an article about a woman who started a book club where everyone read the same book. She soon discovered that her club wasn’t as successful as she thought it would be. The book was just too depressing for her. She was too busy and preoccupied with her own problems to want to share her experiences with others.
This is a topic that’s been addressed a lot on the web. The reason for this is due to the fact that the vast majority of books are written and published by people who don’t have to share their experiences with others. We don’t see this in our daily life as well.
We have so many books that people have put aside for themselves, that they have to wait. And they wait for a while. In the end, they never get to read them. They just throw them away or put them on a shelf and never open them again.
The idea of “all you can’t” books is a good one, especially for me because I have a few of them. I have so many of them I have to take them with me everywhere, and I’m constantly putting books down. I can put a book of mine on a train and it just sits there. I’m always trying to find a place for it.
That’s why I love them, because they’re so much more than just books. They’re a way of keeping yourself on track. They’re a way to set standards for yourself, and as a result, you stay on track.
Yes, all you can books are a way to set standards for yourself and thus to keep yourself on track. But it’s also a way to keep you from losing track. If you have too many books, you’ll lose track of what you are supposed to be doing, and you’ll start to lose track of who you are. It’s a lot easier to not keep track of your goals when you have a few copies of your self to refer to.
I don’t know about you, but I find the idea of a “good” book to be a bit of a turn-off. After a while, I almost never want to read the same book twice. It leads me to set my own standards for what I want in a book.
Now, I know that I do not have to be a person who likes to read many books. And I know that I do not have to be a person who loves to read many books. But I can still be a person who likes to read books and who wants to know what I was reading just a week ago. So a book that makes you lose track of who you are is a book that you might find really useful.
Of course there is a flip side to this, which is that if there is a book that you can completely forget about what you were reading the week before, that’s a book that is probably not going to be useful. But I say that it is useful in that it allows you to reflect on the past. And that is the whole point of a book.
I suppose you could look back on your life and just count every book you have read. But then you might find that there are a lot that are not useful because you didn’t read them immediately after they were released. And that is okay. You can always read them later, or just skip them. But if you find that a book is so important to you that you can’t remember what it was about, then it’s better than not having it.
