I have always been an Amazon Book reader and Amazon Prime member. I have always purchased books for my dad, but this year I have found myself doing a lot more shopping with a few of my neighbors.
Amazon Books are a great way to buy books directly from the publisher, but don’t be fooled into thinking that it makes your local bookstore disappear. In fact, they are a great way to browse books that are too expensive to purchase directly from the publisher, but you want to purchase books from Amazon anyway. This is a good thing because Amazon has a huge selection of books that might not have been available to the public before.
Amazon is basically a bookstore on steroids. You can buy any book anywhere with a simple search online. In fact, it is actually possible to find books that are available through your local bookstore but not available online. These books might not be in print, but if you find them through one of the many online book indexes, then you can buy them.
Amazon Books is a great way to save money on new and used books. The best part about Amazon Books though is that you can also get books that are out of print. I have tried to buy books out of print through Amazon many times, but have never been successful. If you know of a book that is out of print that you think should be available for sale through Amazon, you can find it.

It is doing everything it can to get as many customers as possible to buy its products (it is growing by leaps and bounds, and by the way, Amazon is a huge customer of mine). However, the fact is that Amazon is not a huge customer of mine because I don’t like the way it handles things.
I am not one of those “I don’t like Amazon” people, however I do like their books. My wife and I love them.
Amazon’s book review system is a total trainwreck. I’ve had to go through so much trouble to avoid getting caught up in their rat race review system. In a nutshell, Amazon tracks the reviews, so if you buy something from them, you get the latest reviews to go along with it. If you don’t want to hear that, you can always remove the reviews.
