What’s there to do in the SD area? The San Diego area is full of so many things to do that it would be hard to list them all. There are beaches, parks, mountains and deserts for those who love outdoor activities. If you’re looking for something more cultural, then check out Balboa Park with its museums and art galleries or head downtown where you’ll find theaters, concert halls and professional sports teams. No matter what your interests may be, there’s an adventure waiting just around the corner!

The city has a lot going on from boating offshore at Seaport Village or Mission Bay before heading over to one of our maritime attractions like SeaWorld San Diego; Old Town State Historic Park which dates back to the 1800s; or Cabrillo National Monument which has been a point of interest for centuries.
It’s important to mention our vast array of golf courses as well, from public ones like Lincoln Park Golf Course and Tecolote Canyon Golf Club to more exclusive gems such as Torrey Pines Golf Course (host site for many major tournaments) at Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve just north of La Jolla Shores in Del Mar, Rancho Santa Fe Country Club in nearby San Diego County that was founded by Jack O’Neill founder of what would become known as the world’s leading surf brand name wetsuits. **

The San Diego Zoo Safari Park was ranked by Forbes Traveler Magazine as one of “America’s Best Zoos.” You’ll also want to visit Legoland California Resort in Carlsbad or SeaWorld San Diego Adventure Park where you will be entertained with some of our nation’s most beloved animals such as Shamu®, dolphins, polar bears and penguins*, not to mention thrilling rides and a chance to meet some of the animal trainers.

You’ll also want to take time for other outdoor activities such as hiking Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve or La Jolla Shores Beach Trail -both have panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean- or visit one of many excellent golf courses.
