There was a time when we were told to leave our feelings outside of corporate life. Hearing terms like no one would care or emotions will only lead people to take advantage of us. & Although, now we aren’t exactly emotional fur balls in our workplace and have to hold some mental resilience.; mental health is now a big part of the corporate sector as well. Nowadays, people finally understand that if one is not happy inside, it will definitely reflect upon their work spirit. Corporate sectors are also contributing industrial psychologists or Human Resource people with a background in psychology to help understand the state of mental health of all their employees.

But then came the pandemic, and all these things became almost impossible with everyone sitting at home.

2. Movie Nights Or Games

Although employees generally get their play after their work hours, remote working is blurring the professional and personal time. Plus, they are probably missing the office events and the fun time with their co-workers.

So, why not ask them to take some time out and watch movies together online or play games and have lively discussions. These discussions can also solve many issues informally.

3. Send Them Food

No, we are not saying that bribing is the ultimate method to fix someone’s mental health. However, when it comes to remote working, the isolation can make your employees feel underappreciated for all the work they are doing.

The free lunch will help them realize that they are appreciated as well, and the company does not forget their hard work in this time of difficulty. 

4. Meditation Or Self Reflecting Times

You can take time out from work and ask your employees to sit together for a lively discussion and simply reflect upon life.

On the other hand, they could also be meditating in these few minutes. There are many meditation softwares that can help them relax in between the stress and work pressure.

5. Flexible Work Timing

This is not always possible, but if a coworker is dealing with some issues and they do not wish to take an unnecessary leave, flexible working time can be allowed.

When they are working remotely, they should have some liberty. However, ensure that they are completing their work.

Mental Health Is Important!

Yes, mental health is very important when you need to keep your employee’s spirits high. It is only through proper mental health that they will be able to give their fullest potential.

There will be no negative thoughts or symptoms of depression that will obstruct them.
