But first, what is a “hybrid Saiyan?” A hybrid Saiyan is any character who has both human and saiyan genes. This includes Goku, Vegeta, and Gotenks. In this article we will be discussing their strengths and weaknesses as well as how they rank on the tier list!

Today we will be discussing the strengths and weaknesses of hybrid Saiyans as well as where they rank on a tier list. In order for a Saiyan (or any other being) to become a Super Saiyan, he or she must have near-flawless potential – that is, an untapped power level comparable with Goku’s at the time of his death against Raditz . The transformation into Super Saiyan is generally possible if two conditions exist: one condition would be having immense dormant power which can then transform into its active state; secondly, it requires extreme emotions–either rage or sadness–to trigger such activation.

The process is not permanent, and energy can be consumed quickly through combat. Furthermore, the transformation will eventually fade away if one of these two conditions cease to exist or are no longer met as time passes by. In some instances it’s possible for a Saiyan that has achieved Super Saiyan status to transform into an even stronger form: this happens when a transformed individual manages to access 100% of their potential power without losing emotional control (i.e., Rage).
