The 12 Signs of Love
Love is an odd thing. It can make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside – but it also has its moments where it’s not so easy to handle. No one really knows how they know when they’re in love, or what goes on behind closed doors as two people fall for each other. But there are signs that will show up at some point during a relationship (usually after about six months) that may help us figure out if we’re with someone who might be The One for us. Here are twelve things you should pay attention to: * A lot of time texting back and forth before meeting up in person* Phone calls initiated by her more than you* The person is the first thing on your mind when you wake up and last thought before bed.

The 12 Signs of Love is an interactive installation that explores the many emotions and feelings associated with love. It was created during a two-week artist residency at LUX Gallery in San Francisco, CA. The project began when I started thinking about what it would be like to date myself (i’m not too interesting). This wasn’t really practical so I thought about dating someone else.. but who? Where do you find yourself on this earth? What if there were no people around where you live? As my thoughts progressed, I realized how difficult it seemed for me to find someone just from where i am living now, let alone anywhere else in the world! So then it hit me: There are billions of stars out there. And even though I can’t date myself or someone in San Francisco for example, I could still find love.
The installation is made up of 12 rooms where each room has its own theme and set-up to explore a different feeling that comes along with being in love. The first door you come across as you enter the installation leads into an empty space which signifies how it feels when we are alone. Each subsequent doorway takes us deeper into the mind’s eye exploring feelings such as excitement through a red tunnel, nervousness leading down a dark hallway, and wonderment at what might happen next.
You will encounter both interactive art work pieces and sculptures throughout your journey before finally arriving at the last door – Love itself! And from there, on to eternity enter leads you to the living room, and continues throughout your journey.
I hope that at least one of these rooms connect with each person in a different way since everyone has their own view on love.”
This installation was created by an artist named Heather Dewey-Hagborg who interviewed couples about what they loved most about being together and then translated them into little figures made out of clay. The colors are meant to be unassuming because it is supposed to show how there’s no right answer when it comes down to representing what sparks attraction, which makes it all more mysterious. “What is love?” -unknown
