This is a tutorial for how to be the best tinkle-snowflake you can be. I will teach you all about being your most authentic self, and sprinkling when you tinkle.
It’s great to be alive! The world is an amazing place, and you are the perfect person in it. You’re a unique snowflake that no one can replicate or copy. Your opinions matter because they make up who you are as a human being. There will always be people out there with more power than yours, but for every other reason but this one, your opinion matters just as much as theirs does.
There may have been times where someone has said something hurtful to you about yourself or your life choices–I’m sorry that happened, I know how hard it is when people seem intent on making us feel bad about ourselves–but don’t let those words get inside of you and take root like they are the truth.
You are more than your mistakes, and you always have been. You’re not a lost cause just because of one mistake–in fact, it’s perfectly natural to make mistakes! The important thing is how we learn from them and grow as people in response to those lessons.
We should never be ashamed of what makes us unique; if anything, celebrate that diversity! It means there’s something about us that no one else has. We can’t all do everything equally well or excel at every task assigned to us every time–we need our differences so someone will step up where someone else falls short.
But most importantly: don’t apologize for who you are! There is nothing wrong with being different than the norm–we should be proud of being ourselves!
-The people who are truly worth your time and attention will love you for all that, and more. They’ll support you in pursuing your passions and accepting yourself as a whole person with both strengths and weaknesses. And they may even learn some things from you too..but only if we’re willing to share what we have learned without shame or fear of judgement.
This is not an apology; it’s just me telling it like it is: I’m sorry if this post offended anyone, but there was no ill intent behind writing any part of this article other than sharing my experience on how self-acceptance can change one’s outlook on life by helping them feel good about who they are.
I hope that this post has helped some people embark on their journey of self-acceptance and loving themselves as they truly are, flaws and all–because it’s by far the most fulfilling path you can take in life.
What do you think? Can we talk about self acceptance without offending anyone? Add your thoughts below or tweet me at @robbie_holliwood to let me know! And be sure to share what a difference accepting yourself makes with loved ones so that we can change lives one person at a time.”
