kof 13 tier list

Street Fighter is a fighting video game series that has been around for decades. With so many different versions of the games, it’s hard to keep track of which are the best and which you should be playing. So we created this list to help! We ranked them from tier 1 (the highest) down to tier 13 (the lowest). This will help you figure out what characters you want to focus on learning when playing Street Fighter. Let’s get into our top 13 Street Fighter Characters:

Tier 11: Ken, Balrog, M. Bison and Vega are all ranked in tier eleven because they have some of the best animations when it comes to gameplay. The downside is that their moveset can be difficult to learn for beginners and don’t offer much variety like other characters on this list. They also lack a projectile attack which limits their range game play making them less effective at fighting from afar than most of the higher tiers. It’s worth mentioning though how fun these four are as fighters once you get good with them! We recommend if you’re starting out playing Street Fighter then try using one of these three first before moving up into higher tiers or trying something else entirely new such as Street Fighter II, which has a more traditional fighting system.

I hope you enjoyed this blog post on my favorite characters to play in the new Street Fighter game! What’s your opinion? Did I miss anyone that should be higher up on the list or maybe someone you think is too low for where they are now? Let me know below and if it seems like something I might enjoy then let me know so we can get together and have some fun online! TTFN- until next time 😀😁👍🏻✌️❤️🙋💪☺️💦⚡️(Pronounced as “TTFN- until next time”)

Fighter Tier List: Top Street Fighter Game Characters

The new Street Fighter game has been released and with that, there is a wide range of characters to choose from! To make the decision easier for those not too familiar with these games or are just starting out, I’ve compiled my personal top 13 list as of right now. This may change over time but it should give you some great ideas about who to play if you don’t know where to start. If any of them seem interesting then let me know so we can get together online and have some fun! TTFN- until next time 😀😁👍🏻✌️❤️🙋💪☺️💦⚡️ (Pronounced as “TTFN- until next time”)

B. Mika

She is a powerhouse with an aggressive playstyle, which should provide a good challenge for new players to learn from. She has excellent combos and some great aerial attacks that are hard to defend against when you’re trying to block the ground! Her only downside would be her lack of projectile moves, so if someone can keep their distance away from her she might not do well in certain matchups but nonetheless it’s worth giving her a try because she may just surprise you. B+ tier fighter overall 👍🏻✌️❤️🙋💪☺️

Makoto

Makoto is a very good all-around fighter with an aggressive playstyle as well. She has great combos, defensive options and can pressure her opponents really well. Her only downside would be the lack of aerial attacks to mix up jumps from your opponent so if you’re going against someone who likes to jump then she might not fare too well in this matchup. B+ tier overall 👍🏻✌️❤️🙋💪☺️

Necalli

Necalli is one of those characters that are hard for newer players because he’s got a lot of advanced moves which require specific inputs or motions but once mastered could become deadly! His downfall however comes when fighting any character with projectiles because he can’t do anything about those. A tier overall 👍🏻✌️❤️🙋

Ryu

A legend in the Street Fighter community, Ryu is a solid fighter with great zoning and mobility but his downfall would be against characters who have crazy good aerial combos or are better at catching him out of the air like Akuma for example. He’s an all-around great character that you’ll find in almost every low level player’s arsenal so it’s not too hard to pick up and play with! B+ tier overall 👍🏻✌️❤️👨‍⚕️😂☺️

Akuma/Gouki

Akuma is a powerhouse who has ridiculous combos and his teleport move allows him to get over ground projectiles which helps with his fighting style. He can also do an air fireball, he’s got great aerial mobility and does good damage on the opponents but being close range would be hard for him without any sort of projectile or long ranged attacks. A tier overall 👍🏻✌️❤️😂☺️👨‍⚕️

Ken/Ryuji (Street Fighter V)

The only difference between Ryu and Ken in this game is their hairstyles! They’re pretty much identical characters so it just boils down to preference when you pick one of them because they both have very similar stats and combos. Ken has more of a rush down style combo while Ryu is better for zoning with fireballs to keep the opponent at bay. B tier overall 👍🏻✌️❤️😂☺️

Ryu/Ken (Street Fighter II)

Their movesets are very different in this game! They both have good range, but Ken’s projectiles will make it harder for enemies to approach him whereas Ryu does not really offer as much long ranged attacks- he’s got some fireball options that can vary depending on which button you press when you do the move though so there are pros and cons either way. He also cannot use his Dragon Punch like many other Street fighter games which makes him weaker defensively.

Ken is faster and more combo heavy than Ryu- he also has the Hurricane Kick, which allows him to attack from a distance with good power. I’m not sure if it’s worth putting Ken or Ryu in S tier because they both have very similar stats and combos. They are a lot of fun for beginners though so you may want to try them out! B tier overall.

Ryu (Street Fighter IV)

The Street fighter series continues on in this game by giving players two new characters: Yun & Yang. These two play quite differently- one being fast while the other having strong punches as well as an overhead that can be difficult to punish. Yun is a close range fighter, while Yang players want to keep opponents away with several different moves such as the Scarlet Terror (a command grab). Ryu’s fireball has been nerfed since Street Fighter IV and it takes more time for him to get into his optimal spacing- however he does have great anti air attacks and can play footsies at long distance due to his fast walk speed. He also has had less combos in this game than Ken or Akuma which may be attributed to slower mobility of animations needed for some specific combos. Ryu maintains S tier through sheer skill alone 👊🏻😍👌‍♂️❤️✨ Akuma (Street Fighter II)
