I’m just going to say this: the trendiest spring makeup of 2015 is definitely the face of nude lipstick. Nude lipstick is the new black. The term “vamp” has been thrown around to describe the new trend of dark lipstick that’s been hitting the runway in all its garish glory. It’s like a new thing, I don’t know about you, but I’m definitely interested.

The first thing you notice about Nudie is that she’s wearing shades of nude, like the new black, and then she puts on a black, nude-ish eye shadow. Then she puts on a dark pink lip and some purple lipstick. But really, this is lipstick that you can almost just wear out of the jar. The second big thing you notice is that there is some lip gloss and lip balm too.

It’s a new thing too. We’ve seen similar makeup trends come and go before. In the days of the olden days, you weren’t allowed to wear makeup in the clubs. You were either not allowed to wear makeup, or you had to wear a special white mask, or a white wig. But the new makeup trend is sort of like the olden days, only it’s a bit more sophisticated and better-looking.

I think this is coming because of the popularity in the fashion industry of the new “black lipstick,” which is the color of black, but also is a bit more “professional” and is usually not applied with a brush. The makeup trends of the new year are all about the look, but are not always all about the quality.
