Step #29. Add Unused Content to the Blog Post Editor on WordPress.com or Publish It as a Draft If Necessary  Now that our long-form blog post is finished writing, we can view it in full by clicking “Edit” on the top of the page. Then click into one of your paragraphs at random to see what they look like now that you’ve written them out fully without any bullet points or numbered lists. Remember when editing any blog posts on WordPress.com not to write just numbers and bullet points, but to add in the full sentences of what you want written.

You may find that your content is too long when writing it without bullet points or numbered lists. If this happens, don’t worry! You can always go back and delete some of those words later on (just be careful not to lose any important information).  If you’re happy with how everything looks after editing it fully like this, then click “Publish Now.” We’ll create a draft blog post if we need one next week for our Page Setup option below from Step #30-33.

Step #31: Upload Images & Create Visual Content – Add Photos To Blog Posts Where Necessary  On WordPress.com

Click on the “Media” tab and then click “Add Media.” You can now upload photos from your computer or take a new photo with your webcam, phone camera, etcetera. If you have an image that you want to use as cover art for one of our blog posts (like this one), just drag it over into the box where we are uploading images below:

Step #32: Content Calendar

To create a content calendar, go to the “Publishing” tab at top of page and click on “Create A New Post.” Enter your post title. Select dates for when you want this blog entry published in the future as well as what day it should be published each week (Monday-Friday). Click Publish Now:

In WordPress.com’s Publishing Tab, select how many days out from now you would like to publish this blog post by clicking either Today or Tomorrow. Then click on Blog Posts > Add New Weekly Section where we will enter all our posts that are scheduled for every Monday through Friday . On any non-scheduled days, it’ll automatically default back to publishing new blog posts only on Mondays.

Here’s an example of a completed content calendar:

When you are finished with your post, click Publish Now. WordPress will publish it to the blog and assign it automatically for you as a draft so that next week if you have another scheduled post going up on Monday morning, this one won’t show up twice in a row! And voila-you’re done! If you want to edit or delete any previous posts just go back into Blog Posts > Add New Weekly Section and then select either Edit (if it is already published) or Delete for future ones not yet scheduled.

The contact information section should include who they can reach out to at your company about their blog post content order.

City, State, Zip Code and Country (optional): __ or Company Website URL (Optional) : All of this information is optional but it can be a good idea if your company offers customer service to put in their email address for example so that the client knows how to contact them about any edits they want made. If you don’t have an email that’s fine too just leave it blank and include the phone number only. You can also add additional lines as needed for more individual contacts such as someone who does proofreading services or oversees social media accounts related to your business.

You will need to upload this image on your blog post and then in weebly select “person” when assigning it as an icon so that the client knows who is responsible for edits, customer service etc. If you don’t have a contact photo just leave that line blank or write N/A and include only the phone number. It’s also possible to list more than one person with different responsibilities such as someone overseeing social media accounts related to your business . The order of contacts below should not change and is for your reference.
