The list of people who support Richard Nixon is long, but there are a few characteristics that they have in common. They are often traditional and enjoy the old ways of doing things. They may also be uneducated and/or not from an urban area. One way to know for sure if someone supports Nixon is to ask them if they think he has done anything wrong or unethical during his presidency. If their answer is no, then you can safely assume that this person is on Team Nixon!
If you are looking for people who support Nixon, then be prepared to find a few of these characteristics in common. They may not have the same political views as you or they might make offensive comments about your race/gender/sexual orientation–but that doesn’t mean that they don’t deserve love and respect just like anyone else. Remember this mantra: Haters gonna hate!

One way to know if someone supports Nixon is by asking them if he has done anything wrong during his presidency. If they say that he has done nothing wrong in his time as president, then there is a good chance that they support him.
Then again, these folks might make offensive comments about your race/gender/sexual orientation–but that doesn’t mean that they don’t deserve love and respect just like anyone else. Remember this mantra: Haters gonna hate!
This next set of characteristics are more broad, but may be applicable to people who support Nixon.
-They might enjoy listening to country music or classic rock and roll.
-If they could have a superpower for one week, it would probably be the ability to read minds because knowing what other’s thoughts is always interesting (and sometimes scary).
-Some Nixon supporters like camping in the woods–either with friends on a group trip or by themselves as an escape from stress. They also enjoy fishing!
Another thing that these types of folks love: hunting deer and turkey while wearing camo gear! It sounds crazy, but don’t knock it until you try it..who knows? You just might find yourself becoming a supporter too! 🙂
-Nixon supporters are often avid readers, preferring to read classics before books written in the last twenty years.
-It’s no surprise that these folks enjoy playing cards–they’re always trying their luck with games of Texas Hold ‘Em or Blackjack!
-Some Nixon supporters like video games but they usually prefer older ones from the 80s and 90s because newer titles don’t have quite as much thought put into them. They also love gambling on horse races and betting on sporting events!
To summarize: Nixon backers can be found all over this country (and maybe even outside of it!) so do not despair if you cannot find someone close by who shares your same interests. You just might end
-they choose to ignore the corruption charges against nixon
a. they believe that all americans are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, and it was never proved Nixon is guilty
b. people who don’t know any better will try to convince you he did some awful thing because he’s not your favorite president
-they think we should have stuck with our plan for Vietnam instead of pulling out when things were going badly there
a. we had an agreement to bring them home by 1973 if they didn’t overthrow their government themselves first–we would be wise to honor that deal now rather than wait another 40 years
b. vietnamization was meant as a temporary measure, but still served as a turning point for the war
-they believe that it is every citizen’s responsibility to be politically informed and take an interest in politics
a. if you are not for Nixon, then don’t vote at all–don’t even bother with the political process because we need responsible citizens like me who care about their country
b. they want more people involved in politics so we can have a better democracy where everyone has a voice instead of just one party or group deciding everything as they please
-their heroes include Gerald Ford and Dwight Eisenhower–both men ran on platforms similar to Nixon’s 1968 campaign platform without any scandals or corruption attached unlike our current president
