I have a math quiz on Friday and I haven’t studied at all because I was too busy trying to figure out how to get away from the velociraptor. There are only two more days left until then, but who knows what other disaster will happen in that time? And it’s not just me- some of my friends’ lives seem even worse than mine, like when they found their house had been broken into last night or when one of them got locked inside a room during lunch break..
The list goes on and on with examples like these proving that life is difficult no matter where you live: Seattle has its own set of problems as well.
In addition to the list of problems which Providence has in common with Seattle, there are some things that only happen here: like when I was walking home from school and a car drove by me, missing my toes by centimetres but then speeding up so it hit someone else on the other side of the street..
There’s also something about how all these bad events show us that we need to find ways to connect more- if not just for our own sanity, then at least because maybe we can help each other out sometimes. There needs to be a sense of community where people don’t feel alone or lost anymore and as long as there is one person who feels this way, it proves everyone should try their best.
In Providence, we need to create a sense of community and that applies not just in the physical world but also online. This is how people can make connections with others from different locations or even countries- without ever meeting them face-to-face. I know that there’s no place like home and sometimes you’ll want to stay where you are, but it doesn’t hurt to try if moving somewhere new could be good for your mental health.
There needs to be more connection between people here because too many bad events happen which show us we’re all lonely in our own way. That one person who feels alone is enough proof everyone should do their best and find ways for people not feel so lost anymore; this means trying out some things you might not have done before.

They could also talk about how strip clubs are often stigmatized in society and the different ways that it impacts people’s lives in marginalized communities. The content is up to you! Make your voice heard!
