*Debut* = New Character for December 12th. For more information about a character, click on their name to find out who they are and what they do.
*NEW*: Ability or Appearance Changes that occurred during the past week.
**NEW*: A new appearance (or ability) becomes available at some point in time within this period of days/weeks/months. Please give details as to when it happened if you know them! Otherwise just put “New”. If all abilities become unlocked, please say so in brackets next to each one below.
-Ninja Monkey ~~Ebbadoo~^V,, Elven Archer Xena] [*D], and Gnome Fighter(*new*) are in the D Tier. These characters have pure damage dealers with no other utility that make them worth using. The Ninja Monkey has a strong early game but is weak to both stuns and slows later on, while the Elven Archer can be countered easily by ranged units or fighters (even though it’s not as easy for melee). Finally, the Gnome Fighter has high attack reach with short range attacks which means if they don’t get close enough then their performance will suffer.
*Debut*: Sphinx of Life – A new tier below C level! If this character becomes available then it will be the most OP character in the game.
-The C Tier is made up of characters that have no real flaws but are not really good on their own either, making them only situationally useful or to round out a roster. These include: Barbarians (B), Dwarf Fighter(Df), Elven Ranger (*new*)(Era) and Gnome Archer ~~Yaya^V,, Orc Warrior(*new*) who all have melee attack abilities at long range with stuns/knockbacks, Vampire Lord ^~Haitian Luckie Voodoo Dolly~^V,, Dragonslayer Chronos , Undead Priestess Astrid ]], Witch Doctor Bumba] *Debut*, Treant Protector ^*new*, and the Imp *Debut*.
-The D Tier is made up of characters that can be played to yield decent results but will not perform as well in a team setting. These include: Battlemage ~~Bazil B., Goblin King =_=, Elven Princess (*new*) (Era) and Desert Druid ]], Elementalist ^~Sage^V,, Vampire Lord ^~Haitian Luckie Voodoo Dolly~^V,, Human Mage ¯”Yahweh” Yayo¯, Assassin’s Creed . The commonality among these classes is their ability to cause massive amounts of area damage with attacks like “Death Wave,” or have crippling debuffs such as “Curse of the Undead.”
-The C Tier is made up of heroes who are decent at best. They can excel in a team setting but will not perform as well on their own, and this tier includes: Druid ]], Barbarian , Dark Knight =_=, Demon Hunter ^*new*, Necromancer ~~Vlad B., Ice Mage ¯”Yahweh” Yayo¯, Beast Master . These heroes rely heavily on high damage output or abilities that cause consistent area damage to be effective. “Curse of the Werewolf,” for example, turns wounded enemies into werewolves which then attack nearby foes with increased speed and power!
-The B Tier features characters who have many different ways to play effectively. Generally these heroes have abilities that are not as strong in combat but instead specialize in other areas. They include: Wizard , Demonist ^*new*, Enchanter ~~Vlad A., Druid =_=, Necromancer ¯”Yahweh” Yayo¯, Beast Master .
-The A Tier is reserved for the most powerful heroes of all. Characters within this tier excel at singular tasks such as tanking or burst damage and can win games against even opponents with larger health pools on their own. Heroes like: Death Wave,” Ice Mage ¯”Yahweh” Yayo¯, Barbarian , Dark Knight ~~Vlad B., Dragon Prince ^*new*, Necromancer =_= occupy these ranks thanks to their ability to rock matchups that seem impossible.
-The S Tier is a group of heroes who are not as powerful but still shine in certain areas. These characters have abilities that typically serve a specific purpose and some can even be considered specialists, such as: Holy Knight ¯”Yahweh” Yayo¯, Blademaster , Demonist ~~Vlad C., Sorcerer =_= . With these types of heroes it’s important to identify which role you’re looking for so you’ll know what hero would best suit your needs.
-Finally the Tiers D – F represent those with the lowest ranking because they offer few benefits that other tiers do not already provide or struggle with the game’s basic mechanics due to their limited and/or clunky moveset.
-The Tier D is a group of heroes who do not offer anything unique or interesting, such as: Artilleryman ~~Brick House Bricks, Voodoo Shaman =_= , Jeweler ¯”Dazzling Jewels” Yayo¯ . It’s recommended to stay away from these characters unless you want the novelty of playing someone out of your league.
-The Tier E includes those with abilities that are considered too specific for certain team compositions, like The Engineer ~~Tongue Twister Tongue & Nyctophobia N., Paladin ¯”Holy Knight Yahweh Yayo,” Priestess ^^Yup^^ . These type of heroes are best reserved for more specific compositions or niche roles in matches.
-The Tier F includes heroes that have abilities considered too difficult to use, like The Jester ~~Farting Fool Furfur ¯”Innocent Innuendo,” and Witch Doctor ^^Don’t Speak!^^ . These type of characters should be saved for players who can make the most out of their kit’s potential.
-Tier G has a mix of both sides: some are just lackluster while others may be interesting but not good enough to stand on its own against teams with other tier B+ heroes being played actively by many top players. Heroes in this category include: Angry Snowman =_= , Clown 🎩🤡 , Little Devil ^^You’re No Angel^^ .
-Tier H includes heroes that are not viable in any real sense of the word. Their only use is to troll or make bad jokes, so they should be avoided by all but the most experienced players: Robo Queen ~~Queen of Robots Furfur ¯”The Newcomer,” and Witch Doctor ^^Don’t Speak!^^ . -Tier I is for heroes that are only viable in rare niche situations. They may have an interesting kit or mechanic but require the player to put forth additional effort to make them work: Fire Dragon ^^Fiery Friend^^, Assassin ~~The Silent Killer Rake , and Machine Gunner . -Tier J features characters who don’t get picked much at all. Most of these heroes could be considered “trap” picks; they might look like a good idea on paper, but players find out too late that there’s actually little if any viability behind their kits, so stay away!: -Gunslinger (the more accurate name would be Gunslinging) ~~Unpredictable Shot☆-, Ninja ^^Blade
