I remember when I was a kid and I first watched the movie Top Gun. The one thing that stood out to me was the fighter pilot’s flight suit, complete with aviator sunglasses, white high-tops, and of course his aviator helmet. Fast forward 20 years later and Halloween is just around the corner! This year you don’t have to spend hours at your computer trying to figure out what costume you should wear because we’ve got it all figured out for you!

I think my favorite part of the uniform is definitely the navy blue color paired with black accents throughout. It’s so sleek – which makes it perfect for any Top Gun Halloween costume! I also love how easy this outfit would be to replicate since most people have a collared shirt in their closet at all times (if not two). The Top Gun Halloween costume is a really fun outfit, and lots of people will recognize it right off the bat. The easiest way to put together this costume would be to buy an olive shirt with a white undershirt (or brown if you want something different), blue jeans or khakis, some aviator sunglasses, sneakers or boots for your feet and lastly just add in that red headband so there’s no doubt as to who you’re dressing up as! You won’t even need any fake tattoos since they only appeared on one person during the original movie.
