These are great ways to make sure your next bike ride is one that you’ll want more of in the future and feel confident doing it all over again from here on out. So what are you waiting for?

There’s no time like the present to get out there and start exploring your new hobby! With these 11 tips under our belt, we’ll feel confident with this new interest of ours and start seeing results in no time at all. So what are you waiting for? Get out there and have some fun-we’re sure that once you do, it will be something worth revisiting again soon enough. There is always something different to see whenever we go on a bike ride–whether or not it’s just around town close by or if we venture further into nature where things change more dramatically as the seasons pass us by. It doesn’t matter which route we take because learning about ourselves is an adventure itself..and who doesn’t like an adventure every now and then?

-Don’t be afraid to go out of your comfort zone. Get outside of your routine for a while, explore new places you’ve never been before. It’s okay if it doesn’t work the first time because there is always another chance in the future! -Keep safety at top priority: wear reflective clothing so motorists can see us during nighttime rides; bring lights or a bike light with fresh batteries just in case we do ride at night–we’ll want to be seen as well! -Bring water along on our rides especially when temperatures are high outdoors where hydration becomes more necessary. We also need to take care of ourselves by eating healthy foods and refueling with protein, carbs, and fats. -Pace ourselves..it’s not about how fast we’re going but rather enjoy the ride for what it is! It doesn’t matter if we are riding up a hill or down an incline–we can still take our time to appreciate the surroundings while having fun.

-Keep in mind that bike rides don’t have to be long distances: short trips of even 300 yards counts as a complete biking adventure when it takes us outside of our comfort zone. -Don’t forget sunscreen around one’s face (especially on sunny days) because sunburns will happen and too much exposure to UV rays isn’t good at all for anyone! We need adequate protection from both the sun and the wind.

-Lastly, make sure to hydrate! Drink plenty of water before we start our bike ride so that it will not be too difficult for us while biking on a hot day or when riding in very humid weather conditions (excessive sweating). It’s also important to stay well nourished by drinking water throughout the rest of the day as well–we need lots of fluids because physical activity can increase one’s thirst level.
