I can’t get over the fact that Valerie Bertinelli is an artist, which is a common theme in all of her short stories and novels. In the new anthology she talks about her love of drawing and it’s apparent that this desire to draw is what led her to the kitchen projects. The kitchen is just a place you can draw and write whenever you want. It doesn’t have to be a “live” project, you can just sit and draw there on a Saturday morning.
The Kitchen Project is definitely a book I’ll be digging into more in the future and I hope to see more of Valerie Bertinelli’s work in the future. She’s certainly a talented artist who is worth checking out.
The Kitchen Project is a very different book from what I would have expected. The concept is that Valerie is a part of one of the many parties going on in London, the party being held by the “Secret Garden Party”. This secret garden, much like the garden in the movie Meet The Parents, is a place where people can meet and share their ideas and dreams about cooking or drawing or anything else they want. Valerie is one of the party participants.
The premise behind The Kitchen Project is that Valerie is a part of a secret garden party which is being held by a group of people in London looking to make their lives better by getting together and cooking and having fun. The Secret Garden Party is a secret garden party, not a secret garden, and what Valerie is doing is she is a part of that party. The party is being run by her best friend, Ben.
The secret garden party is a common theme in cook books. The point is that Valerie knows the recipes of the secret garden party but she doesn’t know why she is doing what she is doing. She was a part of the party for years before it was set up as a whole so she is a bit confused by all of it. Of course, it’s likely that there isn’t actually a secret garden party, but it’s a fun way to think about it.
It’s also a sort of meta-story about why Valerie and Ben are friends. It’s because they are two people who are very similar but who have been apart for so long it seems they have lost touch. They both love a good party and a little bit of mischief. They both have a secret garden party. They meet at the party and go their separate ways.
Ben and Valerie live on opposite coasts, so they don’t really get to see each other as much as they’d like to. But at least they have each other all the time, and its not like they’re always hanging out together. They have a great time together, but each year they meet up for an after-party. It’s a fun way to spend some time together.
I love the way the books and party scenes have been combined into one movie. It’s a romantic comedy about young people who get swept up in a time loop and end up in a very old, very sexy place. It’s set in a time loop, of course.
