Why gummies?

It’s something that is so convenient and looks like it’s so much fun to take. But, let’s not confuse fun and need when it comes to stuff like CBD. Although it seems very entertaining, without the proper knowledge and information about it, at the end of the day it may not seem so entertaining at much.

The way that the CBD gummies are made is to attract their audience with their presentation. When you look at gummies you see all kinds of different shapes and sizes and you can only imagine what the flavor is going to be like.  What excites you more, is the thought of you simply taking one gummy just thinking as if you are taking a regular candy from the store and on top of that, there is no way for other people to know that you are actually taking an edible.

But, the thing is, we can’t think of an edible that looks like a gummy and that is simply going to act like a candy. You have to think of the fact that these gummies are actually made with a purpose. That purpose might be to just relax you or help you fall asleep. No matter what your need is, you have to always think about what is the reason you are taking that edible for and how much you are taking. Click here to find out more.

With any medication or just anything in general that we use, we have to put into our minds that there is a certain dosage that is allowed. Usually gummies come into packs of 20 to 60. The usual dose per gummy is 5 mg. If you are new to the whole edible thing, maybe you should just start with one gummy or maybe a half of gummy.

The time that it need to start any kind of effect on you should be after 2 hours of consuming it. If after those 2 hours you feel like you need more and it hasn’t done much to you, then you can take more. Keep in mind to much of anything is not always good.

That’s why you should know the possible side effects. First thing you need to know is that, the edibles won’t make you high. What may concern you, but happens very rare Is that you may experience some fatigue, diarrhea, probably some changes in your appetie or your weight.

Whenever you choose to use any CBD products, you should first consult with your doctor. That’s the best thing to do, because when people like to take things in their own hands, some complications may occur. People have had problems where their livers just stop working from many medications mixed with CBD and build up from a lot of toxins.

Should you eat it on an empty stomach or not?

Just like any other medication, it is recommended to eat before you take it. Some medication can be prescribed to take on an empty stomach, but not so much. When we are talking about edibles, as soon as they are ingested they go in the stomach and the intestines. After that they get broken down as they go.

Taking your edibles on an empty stomach may not cause anything bad to you, but sometimes there is a chance of you experiencing nausea. Another thing is when you do take CBD on an empty stomach just by itself, your body may have trouble digesting it. Sometimes even if you have a weaker stomach and you keep taking CBD on an empty stomach you may experience diarrhea.

That’s why it is recommended to take edibles or any type of CBD with food or probably the best way is to take it half an hour to an hour after eating. A lot of studies show that when taking CBD, you should take it alongside foods that have fatty acids, such as avocados, fish, eggs as it gives the CBD more time for the body to digest it.

Don’t just take it as it is, always look for ways to incorporate it with any food. Don’t follow the trend that some people like to do, learn why an empty stomach CBD would not make a good choice for you. With all that said, we know now that edibles when taken alongside food become more bioavailable. Always try to consult with a doctor before you decide to start taking any kind of CBD and see if it’s suitable for you to take it.

Work your way up from a smaller dosage if you are a beginner and then just go with what your body tells you. Listen to your body and do whatever makes you happy. Just don’t overdo it and know your limits.
