*To be eligible for the NFL’s annual all-star game, a player must have one year of college football experience and not have played in this bowl before.* *Each team is allowed to bring up to 20 players who are invited by coaches or scouts from that organization. Invitations are extended only after considering what position they play as well how their performance has been during practices leading up to the event.*
The following positions qualify under these rules: Quarterback, Running Back, Fullback*, Offensive Linemen (Centers¸ Guards*, Tackles), Tight Ends, Wide Receivers*, Defensive Linemen (Ends, Tackles), and Linebackers.
*Note: Kickers must have at least one season of Division I experience to be eligible.* *A player’s participation in the Senior Bowl is not contingent on their draft status or whether they are invited to an NFL training camp following the event.
*Some players who attend practices but do not play in the game may receive a “practice squad” invitation from teams after the all-star game for future consideration during that team’s preseason games.*
