when the rain comes

The rain is a symbol of life. It is the only force in nature that has the power to wash away everything and make it new again. When you are feeling down, sometimes all you need is a little rain to bring back your hope.

When you are feeling down, sometimes all you need is a little rain to bring back your hope. The water may be cold when it first falls from the sky, but as soon as it hits ground we feel its warmth seeping through our skin and soaking into our bones. We love watching how quickly the world changes with every drop of wetness—the vivid greens become dark browns, which then turn into bright colors as they dry off at nightfall; and before we know it there’s a rainbow over head too!

I start to feel a little more alive

because when the rain comes, I can’t help but be happy.

It’s like my favorite song or movie that always makes me smile. It doesn’t matter if it was raining yesterday and all day today-it still lifts up my spirits every time. The sound of rainfall is soothing as well, so cozy in bed with someone you love on these cold nights! Even just from looking outside at the foggy windowpane, I could tell that this wet weather had made everything seem slower somehow. But there’s something about being able to close your eyes for a moment and see things slow down around you–maybe even dream a bit–that never ceases to amaze me.

The sound and feel of the rain is always so comforting, as well–the way it makes everything seem fresh again. Suddenly all these little things that I took for granted seem to be more significant in the grand scheme of my life: like being outside without an umbrella on a day off; or feeling how wet your hair has become from just a couple minutes in the doorway during lunch break; taking time to notice something new about your surroundings might not happen often enough with our busy lives! The smell after this storm will only make me happier-at least until we have another one tomorrow..

Tip: Paperclip interesting sentences into Evernote to use later when you’re writing content. Useful phrases include “I started” and “I finished.”

I’m so glad I brought my new umbrella! The others are still in our office by the door from earlier, and it’s not like they magically reappeared or anything. It doesn’t matter now though–I have mine. Perfect for a day out with friends when you’re least expecting rain (speaking of which, don’t forget your hat!). You never know what to expect when it comes to this unpredictable weather we get here where I live-and that’s just one more thing about living somewhere different than anywhere else!

The way the leaves rustle against each other makes me want to fall asleep right there on their cool ground–it sounds exactly how an autumn forest should. It’s so beautiful, even when it looks like a storm is brewing from the distance (which reminds me of my thought on storms–don’t get caught in one if you can help it!).

I’m thankful for all that nature has given us here-even though sometimes she doesn’t seem to be giving anything at all. I still love the way this rain sounds against our windows and how looking out into such an endless sky makes me feel small but important at the same time!

The funny thing about moving somewhere new with someone is remembering what else we have in common once you’re there together most of the time too. We both miss home sometimes, or friends, family..but then we also find ourselves missing the new people in our lives and all the amazing things we’ve seen.

This year, I’m thankful for finally feeling like it’s my home after being here over six months-it feels as though every day is another step closer to feeling more comfortable with what this place has given me so far!

There have been some really hard moments but they’re also a part of who we are now–and that realization brings me such joy. One thing that always makes me happy about living somewhere new is how quickly you can start fresh; take advantage of everything around you instead of slowing down or trying to get used to something just because it’s there. The rain reminds us not only why nature matters, but why starting again matters too.

The rain reminds us not only why nature matters, but why starting again matters too. It’s a reminder that there will always be something else–another day with the potential for change and new discoveries in store. The rain is also a hopeful symbol of what it means to work hard towards feeling rooted, happy within yourself and connected with those around you; because sometimes all you need are your roots to make everything grow stronger than ever before!
