Love is a powerful emotion. We all know this, but it doesn’t always feel the same for everyone. For some people, love can be overwhelming and make them want to do anything for their partner. The singer discovers something that makes them realize their partner isn’t being faithful and they’re no longer in love with their lover anymore because of it.
The sad lyrics go from describing how happy we are now to recalling all these memories of when things were different—when everything was okay (or so we thought). These feelings start to overwhelm our protagonist until they can’t take it any more and want out of this relationship; goodbye!
