Hawthorne’s Family Restaurant is the perfect place to enjoy a delicious family meal in North Portland while building relationships with others from all over the world. We have a beautiful outdoor patio that overlooks both Mt Hood and downtown Portland where you can dine overlooking one of Oregon most iconic views. Our restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes including traditional American classics like macaroni & cheese or grilled ham & cheese sandwiches as well as Mediterranean delights like hummus and falafel.
Apart from our great food, we also offer a variety of entertainment for the entire family including outdoor games, 100+ board games to enjoy inside or out; full bar with both craft brews (including Hawthorne Brewing Company’s many beers) and wine selections as well as live music every night after dinner service in our auditorium space. Hawthorne’s is a family owned restaurant with an emphasis on fresh food served in generous portions at affordable prices. Hawthornes offers inside seating for 130 guests as well as front porch seating with water bowls for your furry friends. We’re open Sunday through Thursday from 11am to midnight and Friday & Saturday from 11am to 12midnight (we don’t take reservations but if you can’t wait 45 minutes please call ahead– we want everyone happy).
