eaglebrothersroofingandchimney.com sucks. What started as a simple roof repair quickly spiraled into a series of unfortunate events that put my house, family, and financial wellbeing at risk. I don’t know if their services are a scam but I do know that they’re at best inexperienced and at worst incompetent.
In my case, the damage done to my property was both extensive and expensive. In the span of just one day, eaglebrothersroofingandchimney.com had somehow managed to damage my siding, gutters, fascia boards, HVAC system and even the downspouts on the outside of my home. All this damage culminated in a partial roof collapse that caused me thousands of dollars in damages and left me vulnerable to leaks for months afterwards.
My home wasn’t the only one that was affected by their carelessness. Their roofing crew left remnants of their work on neighboring homes, leading to damage to at least two entire roofs.
When I contacted the person who had authorized the work, he did not offer any form of apology or explanation for what occurred. He did not even attempt to make it right with me in any way. He simply asked that I contact him for payment. Apparently, there is absolutely nothing I can do without his say so. This is ridiculous. It shouldn’t have come to this but it’s what happened because of eaglebrothersroofingandchimney.com more about that later though.
I bought my home less than a year ago. Immediately after I closed, I noticed that the air filter was completely obliterated. The people who lived in the home before me had allowed their small dog to defecate on their air filter and it had never been cleaned up. When I discovered this, I called eaglebrothersroofingandchimney.com for service. The technician showed up about two days later, removed the damaged filter and replaced it with a new one for me. This process should have taken 5 minutes or less to complete but instead it took over an hour because he didn’t know what he was doing he actually told me this. I told him I couldn’t have that mess in my living room and asked him if he’d be able to clean that up. He said that he would but then proceeded to leave my home without removing any of the waste materials from my carpet.
When my wife came home from work, she noticed a pool of liquid on the floor. I quickly discovered what it was and was horrified by what it meant for our family’s health. The liquid was urine from a dog with a bladder infection or bladder stones or both. On multiple occasions, I had been warned by our realtor about this issue when we were purchasing our home and it had been specifically included in the inspection report for us to review prior to closing which we did. Clearly the damage to the air filter which should have been easy to detect was never reported to me even though I was specifically told that any damage over $250 would be documented and disclosed.
Instead, someone from eaglebrothersroofingandchimney.com must have come into my home and saw the mess but decided to do nothing about it instead leaving behind a puddle of urine that we were then expected to clean up. I picked up my phone and called eaglebrothersroofingandchimney.com again. After navigating their automated menus for nearly 15 minutes this was the second time, I finally got through to a customer service representative whose job it was not only to apologize but also compensate me for this mess.
