Do you miss me? I’m sure you do, and it’s understandable why. This post is about the lonesome feeling of missing someone who has left your life for one reason or another. When we are in love with someone, it can be hard to let them go. But sometimes we have to force ourselves through that process because they may not feel the same way about us as we do for them. It can be a difficult transition from being attached at the hips to only having contact when necessary. And yes, there will always be times where we’ll want more than what our partner is willing to give us during those moments.
I send you a tight squeeze of emotional support in hopes that it will fill the void as much as I can’t. It’s easier to get through this process when we have people who care about us and love us unconditionally on our side. Plus, it helps to know that there are so many other relationships out there worth having because they’re not ones where someone has left your life unexpectedly or without warning like mine did.

I know what I’m feeling is difficult to put into words. It’s not just for me; we all go through this process from time to time in our lives when the person who has left will continue being present on a 24/365 basis within us. I wish I could have told her that it’s okay to feel all the emotions, and there will be moments of happiness in between the sadness because they’re still with us even though we can’t see them anymore.
