What are the best characters to have in your party? This is a question that many players of Darkest Dungeon ask themselves, and there is no one right answer. Characters with different abilities and playstyles can help you conquer the challenges that await you in this game. In this article, we will list 100 of our favorite characters from darkest dungeon!
This is a list of the best characters to have in your party if you want an easier time with Darkest Dungeon. These are some of the most reliable and powerful warriors that will help you survive long enough for other members of your team to come around!
The 100 Best Characters In Darkest Dungeon:
-Abbess Adella, Church Father Maren”s daughter who founded New Londo monastery. Her miracles always heal at least one person on her team or revive them from death.. but they also take away all their mana every turn. Use wisely when she’s already out of mana herself! She can cast Miraculous Heal as well which synergizes very well with Revive making her invaluable during those tough boss
-Celestian, the Archon of Sanctuary. This is an unkillable guy who will hold down a spot in your party until you get to The Darkest Dungeon itself and fight Braindeath. Be warned that he doesn’t know how to do anything but heal others (and himself).
-The Collector – A rogue archaeologist with deep knowledge about all things arcane. His skillsets include stealing items from enemies, giving team members buffs such as armor or attack damage, and summoning skeletons!
-Aggie The Farmer’s Daughter – Aggie can summon a pig companion for one turn each combat round. If she has time to build up her power bar enough times before going into battle it becomes possible to initiate some devastating combinations by summoning multiple pigs.
-Craghead The Rock – Craghead is the kind of guy who starts a fight with an earth elemental (no surprises there) and then proceeds to summon other elements in order to do some damage on both sides! He can also buff his teammates with a variety of buffs including armor, attack and damage.

If there is anything that you would like me to add or remove please let me know! I am currently not sure if I want Craghead The Rock as a Tier A character because he can also buff his teammates with his special attack, Stone Shield. If you think the reason for him being in this tier should be changed then please tell what it should say instead! Thank you and have a good day 🙂

The 100 Best Characters In Darkest Dungeon — Craghead The Rock – Many people disagree with this tier placement, but I stand by it because he can buff his teammates and does a fair amount of damage to enemies when used correctly. It is important not to use him in the role of tanking, as that will result in his death quickly due to low armor rating. He should be standing back from melee range (he has an attack that shoots rocks at all foes) or up close attacking ranged targets (his primary weapon doesn’t do much damage).
The 100 Best Characters In Darkest Dungeon — Dethrix The Oracle – His attacks are devastating against single enemies and help him move around the battlefield fairly well while
100. Bloodletter – The bloodletter is a ranged fighter with high damage and moderate health, but low armour ratings which make him very vulnerable to melee attacks. His ability “Bloody Flail” makes use of his speed by circling the enemy while swinging his whip in order to attack multiple times at once. This can be used semi-effectively on two enemies simultaneously, though it comes with an increased risk due to the distance between you and your foes. He has some utility as a healer thanks to skills like “Nourishing Vapors” that let him heal all allies within range while acting as a support class for other classes when he uses skills such as “Inspiring Cry”.
99. Grave Robber – The Grave Robber is a nimble rogue with the ability to buff allies, debuff enemies, and deal damage. As an agility-focused fighter they are able to dodge attacks more easily than others which can allow them some measure of survivability on higher difficulties where avoidance rather than pure tanking becomes necessary. She has skills such as “Master Thief” that empower her when she steals from opponents while being vulnerable if caught in the act by making it harder for her to dodge incoming attacks.
98. Hellion – The hellion uses ranged fire weapons along with a whip attack at close range to devastating effect against groups of foes who find themselves grouped together too closely or tightly packed in formation. Though he doesn’t have the raw power of some other classes, he is often overlooked by many players due to the easy-to-learn nature of his attacks.
99. Grave Robber – The grave robber class was originally a speed focused thief who would rely on dodging and stacking dodge buffs in order to last as long as possible before succumbing to enemies’ powerful blows. However this has since changed with recent updates where she now relies more heavily upon debuffs like “disease” and “bleed.” She also carries an arsenal of poisoned weapons such as daggers, knives or even darts that can inflict debilitating effects against her foes without having them strike first but at the cost of limited range which forces her close enough for enemies to engage in melee combat if they so wish. 98. Abomination – The abomination is a melee class that can be considered the “tankiest” of all classes in game thanks to their ability to increase their own health points via skill modifiers and passive abilities such as tough skin, thick blood or even cannibalism which allows them to heal up by eating weakened enemies on the battlefield. They also boast an array of skills designed specifically for tanking purposes like blinding foes with tentacles while reducing incoming damage through various resistances and immunities. Due to this they are often times seen at odds against other heavy-hitting fighters who might want just one more hit before going down but it’s not always wise because fighting these blobs head-on isn’t necessarily a good idea unless you’re looking
