The Guilty Gear series is one of the most popular fighting game series in the world. As such, there are a lot of people who enjoy discussing which characters are best and why. In the Guilty Gear series there are a lot of different characters that can be considered strong. This means it’s hard to say which one is definitively stronger than another because they all have their strengths and weaknesses. We will discuss some of them here in order from strongest to weakest. The first three tiers are what we consider ‘the big six’: Sol Badguy, Ky Kiske and Millia Rage. These three characters would dominate any game if they were picked by anyone at an average level of play but with each other on screen there becomes more strategy involved as you need to figure out who you should focus your attention on while trying not to get killed yourself alongside being mindful about where the other player is on the screen.
The next tier consists of characters that are just as strong with their own strengths and weaknesses: Elphelt, Venom, Jack-O’ Valentine, I-NO and Axl Low. The last three tiers consist of weaker characters who have to rely more on character specific combos or team play to stay alive if they do not want a quick death from one of the aforementioned fighters: Johnny Sfondi, Leo Whitefang and Potemkin. Lastly there are two hidden bosses in Guilty Gear Xrd REV it’s Overture which can be unlocked by finishing all story mode missions and Dizzy which must be unlocked through fighting her throughout various modes such as online matches or offline versus mode.
Guilty Gear Rev Tier List: The top tier consists of three fighters that are all very strong in different ways and can be considered the best characters to play at high level competitive fighting.
These include Sol Badguy, Ky Kiske and Faust who each have their own unique strengths grounded on where they are located on the screen when defending against an opponent’s character attack such as crouching low or blocking attacks from a certain side. It debuted in 1998 with the release of Guilty Gear, which was praised for its then-innovative gameplay mechanics such as air blocking, an excellent combo system that rewarded risk-taking players, and enthralling character designs based on anime stereotypes. The following title released in 200 also made strong advancements over the original including new characters to choose from like Jack-O’s swordfighting skills instead of just relying on her gunslinger abilities or Baiken’s brute strength coupled with heavy weaponry to get ahead in battle verses opponents. The most recent installment came out earlier this year after a long hiatus called Guilty Gear Xrd – Revelator and includes everything seen in both previous titles with a slew of new features as well.
