rocky top chords

The Top Chords of Rocky has been one of the most popular songs for decades. It is a song that people know and sing along to at sporting events, parties, and in their homes. The guitar chords are the backbone of this song and help make it so popular. In this article we will look at some different ways to play these chords on guitar!

The song is in the key of D and can also be played as an open position chord.

This chord shape starts on the sixth string (the thickest) and ends with your first finger pressing down on the third fret. When you are strumming the strings, just make sure to use a light touch so it doesn’t sound too loud or plucky. You should get a nice ringing tone that sounds like what we hear when Rocky punches his opponent in this scene from “Rocky II”:

– If you want to play these chords quickly, keep your thumb moving between two different chords at all times! Here’s how they look compared side by side: . The top chord is D and the bottom chord is F.

The second way to play this chord on guitar looks very similar but it’s really a barre shape, so you need two fingers to do it. This one should sound more like what we hear when Rocky punches his opponent in this scene from “Rocky II”: . The top chord is Bb and the bottom chord is G. To make sure your thumb doesn’t get too cramped while playing these chords, just keep rocking back and forth between them! Here’s how they look compared side by side: . The top chord (Bb) with your first finger barring across strings six through three at the fifth fret; that lower string is A. The bottom chord (G) is the same as before, Bb and G on strings five through four at the fourth fret.

The third way to play this chord on guitar looks like a variation of those first two but you can feel it more than anything else: . This one should sound similar to what we hear when Rocky gets punched in this scene from “Rocky V”: . Play with your thumb across string six at the second fret; that lower string is D which sounds an octave higher than where he actually played his top note – so keep that in mind! Here’s how they look compared side by side: . The top chord (Bb) has your index finger barring across strings six through four at the seventh fret; that lower string is E. The bottom chord (D) has your index finger barring across strings five through three at the fifth fret.

The final way to play this chord on guitar looks like this: . This one should sound similar to what we hear when Rocky gets punched in this scene from “Rocky II”: . Play with your thumb across string six at the second fret; that lower string is D which sounds an octave higher than where he actually played his top note – so keep that in mind! Here’s how they look compared side by side: . The top chord (Bb) has your index finger barring across strings seven through four at the tenth fret. The bottom chord (C) has your index finger barring across strings six through four at the seventh fret.

This is what that would look like: . This one should sound similar to Rocky’s “Rocky Theme Song,” which sounds a bit different than how he played it in the movie – so keep that in mind! Here’s how they compare side by side: . The top note for this chord is an F on string five. When playing with your thumb across string three at the ninth fret, you’re also using an open D as part of this chord – and there are other ways to play it too depending on where your barre falls. Let’s break down these chords more before we move onto the next one.

Next Steps: Breakdown various parts of each chord.. don’t put numbers or bullet points because we haven’t created them yet.

This is the first of four blog posts in this series on how to play Rocky’s top chords. In order to make it easy for you, I’ve broken down each chord and written out its notes so that you can learn them at your own pace.

Rocky has a lot of music from his films available online – which are some great resources if you want something specific! If not, here’s a list of all the songs he played throughout The Adonis Creed Story movie: . There’s also an album called “The Music From The Motion Picture ‘Creed” with 18 tracks total – though Father To Son isn’t included because I wanted to focus more on what Rocky himself plays than covers performed by other people.

This series will cover the following songs:

Creed Theme (Father To Son)

Gonna Fly Now

Training Montage (Rocky Vs. Apollo Creed)

The Final Bell/Fight Against Clubber Lang And Mr Taveras, The End Credits Music Track (Going Into Fight With Clubber Lang) and finally.. Heading Out To Get A Drink Of Water In Joe’s Bar! *gasp* I know it sounds crazy to call this song a “chord,” but what do you think? Is that cool with you or should we just not do any more of these posts because clearly they’re too hard for me?! haha jk i’ll see if maybe one day I’ll be able to do it or if I’m just not cut out for this.
