why can’t i think straight

Do you ever feel like you’re running on fumes? Like your body is constantly tired and you can’t think straight? If so, this blog post is for you. We’ll discuss why fatigue may be the cause of your ills, what to do about it, and how to get back on track without sacrificing quality sleep.

The first thing you need to do when it comes to fatigue is figure out what the root cause of your tiredness. There are a few symptoms that could be causing this, and there’s no one answer for why they’re happening, but we’ll go through some common ones below:

-Excessive stress or anxiety in life can take away from sleep quality because people will stay awake worrying about things too much. The body needs time to relax so it can effectively get into REM (dreaming) stage sleep throughout the night without interruption. If someone has a lot on their mind all day long, then their ability to have good restful sleeps may not happen as often as needed. This leads into feeling tired during the day more frequently.

-Not enough sleep per night. It’s not just about how long you’re sleeping, but it can be the quality of that time as well. Those who are chronically tired may find themselves waking up during the night because they were never able to reach REM stage deep sleep in a regular manner. They’ll also feel groggy and lethargic all day long when this is happening too often without them realizing what exactly is going on with their body.

-Excessive use of stimulants like caffeine or excessive smoking will lead to someone feeling more fatigued than normal over time for both short term effects and longer lasting ones as well. Without these two substances being eliminated from life, then fatigue could start affecting other areas of functioning such as work or school.

-The quality of the food and drinks you’re consuming might also be affecting how your body is feeling. This includes sleep, because a person who doesn’t consume enough water can easily find themselves fatigued as well without realizing what’s going on with their body. If they eat foods that don’t have proper nutrients in them, then fatigue will start to set in for someone sooner than it would if they were eating properly balanced meals throughout the day too.

-Stress levels are hugely influential when it comes to chronic tiredness starting up since elevated stress usually means more cortisol production which can interfere with getting into deep REM sleep cycles over time. So not only does this make a person feel exhausted during the daytime hours, but it also means that they’re not going to get enough quality sleep at night either.

-If a person is dehydrated, then their body will start feeling sluggish because the cells in the brain are less able to send electrical signals through them due to fluid loss. This leads to fatigue and even fuzzy thinking over time without realizing what’s causing this lack of mental clarity. The more this continues, the harder it becomes for blood circulation which can lead to reduced oxygen levels too — both serious problems when you need energy during everyday activities like work or school!

Most people don’t realize how bad dehydration is until they’ve felt its effects on a day-to-day basis where everything from productivity to cognitive function is being affected.

-Even if you drink enough water, dehydration can lead to a lack of energy and that’s why many people who are tired during the day assume they’re not getting enough sleep at night — but it could actually be because their body needs more fluid intake! The brain has about 30% fewer cells in its frontal lobe when dehydrated too — with all these negative effects on health going forward, it should be clear how much this affects every aspect of your life.

The real question is: what do you need to change? That might even mean making sure to get plenty of fluids throughout the day so your organs don’t get overworked.

-If you’re looking for a caffeine boost, that’s not the answer either — it might help snap your brain out of its sluggish state but will just make you crash harder in the afternoon and night! Research has shown people who drink coffee often are more likely to have anxiety because they rely so heavily on this pick me up without realizing what else is going on internally. If anything, coffee can be helpful as an occasional tool when there isn’t time for a proper break during work hours (but even then, try to stay away from energy drinks!).

The bottom line: if you’re tired all day long with no relief or explanation why — it could be due to a hidden medical condition that needs treatment.

-If you notice any of these symptoms, schedule an appointment with your doctor: “fogginess or confusion in the morning hours before breakfast; irritability without clear explanation and difficulty concentrating; or extreme sleepiness during the day but no relief from napping. This is because a lack of blood sugar often causes lethargy and fatigue.”

A good way to start off my week is by taking care of myself first thing in the morning. If I don’t get enough sleep on Sunday night, then I won’t be able to function well all week.

As for what I do to help with the sleepiness, a lot of people drink coffee in the morning since it can give them an energy boost and keep them awake longer than normal. But caffeine also has negative side-effects like increased heart rate or jitters that disrupt your day even further. “The best time to drink coffee is between 11am and noon,” says Dr. Wilhelm Stahl, who specializes in managing stress by balancing hormones naturally through bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT). “Caffeine stays active in one’s system for up to six hours, so it’s not the best for anyone who needs to get a good night’s sleep.”

Ultimately, if you want to be able to function well all day long and avoid crash-and-burn syndrome, there are things we can do that will help us feel energized when our bodies need energy. Start by making sure your diet is balanced with healthy proteins and fats during breakfast time. “For me personally,” says Dr. Stahl, “I eat eggs or avocado toast made of avocado on whole wheat bread along with some fruit in order to fill my body up without feeling sluggish later in the morning.” This one meal alone has helped him stay alert throughout his days ever since he started following this new regimen. Importance of Sleep: “Falling asleep is important for many reasons, but one that we might not think about as much is the importance sleep has in our ability to learn and retain information.” “Studies have shown,” Dr. Stahl explains, “that when people are well-rested their brains function better due to a release of sleep hormones like serotonin which help regulate moods and make us feel happy.” And what do you want when your brain isn’t functioning properly? A sluggish body! So it’s important for all functions including memory processing and attention span to get enough sleep at night so you can focus on whatever task needs to be done during
